Keep the DVD, as MacBook Pro can only boot from internal DVD drive in Windows setup. The way I've set up software (after a lot of trial and error) is to install before moving.ġ.
Ive ended up having Samsung 840 pro SSD in the standard HDD location containing bootable Windows 7, and Apple SSD with bootable MacOS in the Optical bay. I have done something like this with my MacBook Pro 17" 2011 late.
